Piedra de Ibiza – Lobby “Ibiza’s Soul” – Casa Decor 2025

For our participation in Casa Decor 2025, together with Suministros Ibiza we developed the Piedra de Ibiza – Lobby “Ibiza´s Soul” space, a project in which we explored the relationship between luxury, time and materiality through a deeply sensory approach. We conceived the space as an opportunity to reinterpret the traditional lobby and transform it into an immersive experience in which material became the central focus of the design.

From the outset, we approached the project as a habitable sculpture. Our aim was to go beyond aesthetics and create a space capable of establishing an emotional connection with the user. We explored the idea of a monolithic, almost timeless environment where time seems to stand still and every element responds to a shared narrative: the essence of Ibiza.

We understood luxury through the honesty of materials, opting for an approach that celebrated authenticity over the superfluous.

Piedra de Ibiza was the common thread running throughout the entire project. We selected and combined different varieties to create a spatial language rich in nuance: We used Piedra Gris-Pieles in its most natural state, without treatments, to express authenticity. We incorporated Piedra Gris-Rayado, whose linear texture brought rhythm and tactile depth. We introduced Piedra Roja-Forro to connect the space with the Mediterranean landscape through its warm tones.

Each piece was crafted using artisanal processes, respecting its origin and enhancing its unique qualities. This approach allowed us to reinforce the connection between material, territory and design.

We designed the flooring as a key feature of the space. Through the Sunset Biscuit collection, we developed a dynamic composition based on “biscuit shaped” pieces with a honed finish. The combination of Light Pink, Yellow, White and Dark Pink tones allowed us to bring the changing light of Ibiza’s sunsets into the space, creating a warm, vibrant and emotional atmosphere.

This design was recognised with the Best Original Design Award at Casa Decor 2025, highlighting its ability to combine innovation, craftsmanship and expressiveness.

We selected furniture pieces that would engage in dialogue with the strength of the stone without taking away from its prominence. We opted for organic forms and natural materials that brought balance to the overall composition. We treated lighting as another layer of the project. We incorporated a luminescent fabric into the ceiling, allowing us to create a changing and enveloping atmosphere, while accent lighting highlighted textures and volumes.

We also integrated home automation systems that allowed us to adapt the atmosphere in real time, reinforcing the idea of a living space in constant transformation.

We completed the space with artistic interventions that strengthened its sensory character. The suspended sculpture “Soul Reflection”, by Ainhoa Moreno, created a play of reflections and transparencies that brought a sense of lightness in contrast with the solidity of the stone. In addition, the paintings by Pablo Manso enhanced the contemplative nature of the space, introducing a visual narrative connected to the Mediterranean.

With “Ibiza Soul”, we transformed a lobby into an immersive experience where architecture, interior design and art coexist in balance. The project was conceived as a material manifesto, with every surface and texture designed to highlight Piedra de Ibiza and its ability to convey identity.

The result was a space that was not only perceived visually, but experienced, inviting visitors to stop, observe and connect with a more honest, sensory and timeless form of luxury.
